HELIOS Aspirating smoke detectors
Large-scale dampening.
HELIOS AMX5000 aspirating smoke detectors detect even minute smoldering fires and can be used almost anywhere. They actively draw air samples from the protection zone and analyze them in a measuring chamber. In addition to a pre-signal and contamination assessment, the detector also offers the possibility of adjusting the sensitivity in accordance with the unit's general use. Minimax aspirating smoke detectors are multifunctional detectors that respond to various fire characteristics through combined measuring chamber systems. Thus, fires are already detected at an early stage.
The HELIOS AMX5000 aspirating smoke detector consists of one or two independent suction lines with suction opening and one highly sensitive smoke sensor. Each suction line is constantly monitored via an air stream monitoring system in order to identify pipe breaks and dirt at the suction opening. A high-power fan sucks air from the area or device to be monitored through the suction line to an evaluation unit. Here, the air is constantly evaluated by the smoke sensors. The display and operating fields of the evaluation unit show the smoke concentration in the aspirated air, in addition to other alarm, fault and status notifications. Any increase in the smoke concentration is identified extremely quickly. Three pre-signals and one main alarm can be programmed, which can be transferred to the Loop AP via a potential-free relay or module.

Alarm threshold of conventional smoke detectorsThe HELIOS AMX5000 is also suitable for room and object observation thanks to its excellent response characteristics. After installation, the pipe system is largely invisible, thus ensuring protection for cultural possessions and optimum suitability for prison cells and aesthetically demanding architecture.
